Scientific Research

The Forensic Tests for Alcohol Branch implemented the Scientific Research Program in 1997. The Scientific Research Program provides the Branch, law enforcement officers, state prosecutors and other state agencies with additional scientific expertise in research regarding alcohol and other impairing substances that cause impairment in drivers.
