The North Carolina
Oral Health Section conducts a one-year professional training program
for dental public health specialists.
The
Dental Public Health Residency Program is accredited by the American
Dental Association. It is based in the Oral Health Section as mandated
by General Statute 130A-11 of the North Carolina Public Health Laws.
The Dental Public
Health Residency Program is co-directed by Dr.
R. Gary Rozier, UNC School of Public Health and Dr.
Rebecca King, North Carolina Oral Health Section.
