A Public Health Response to Domestic Violence

Injury and Violence Prevention has developed a state and local public health response to domestic violence by joining with the Women's Health Section to lead a Public Health Alliance Against Domestic Violence. The Alliance coordinates an effort that includes training of local health department and community agency staff, providing manuals and training support to local health department, publishing educational materials, and providing ongoing technical assistance.
